The Fremantle Tweed Run for 2013 has been announced on the Freo Tweed Run Facebook page and in the Fremantle Festival guide. The event kicks off with a picnic in the park at midday. The ride itself begins at 2pm, follows bike paths around the river crossing into North Freo to wind up at the North Fremantle Bowling Club, where the festivities continue with live music, barefoot bowls and whatnot.
The first ever Tweed Run was 2009 in London. Sartorial splendour ranging from the colonial to the contemporary will once again be the order of the day for Freo's fourth Tweed Run, timed to co-incide with the Fremantle Festival.
This event is organised by Dismantle as part of the Fremantle Festival.
